Value-engineered custom software and AI.

Rebar Solutions builds the operational software and AI-powered automation businesses actually run on — not flashy dashboards, not AI bolted onto problems that never needed it. Everything we build is value-engineered: we start from where the real ROI lives, pair deterministic and non-deterministic systems for what each does best, and bring in AI only where it genuinely earns its place.

Measurable value, unlocked through technology.

Every business has value waiting to be unlocked — and it shows up in different places. Sometimes it's automating tedious workflows to give back the most valuable asset there is: time. Sometimes it's surfacing new revenue streams hidden in your data. We find where the value is, and build the technology to capture it.

Custom Software Builds

Custom-built software and AI-powered automation, shaped around how your business actually runs — taking the manual handoffs and repetitive busywork off your team's plate.

AI Strategy & Consulting

Consulting on where AI fits — research and evaluation of the tools, vendors, and platforms worth adopting, then integrating the right ones into how you already work. Honest guidance on what's worth doing, and what isn't.

AI Efficiency & Optimization

Auditing the AI you already run and making it leaner — cutting token spend, trimming unnecessary calls, and shifting work onto deterministic logic where it's cheaper, faster, and verifiable. Closer to deterministic-level reliability, at a fraction of the cost.

Training & Education

AI tutoring, lessons, and workshops under the Rebar Academy banner — giving individuals and teams the lay of the land and the practical know-how to use AI well on their own.

Rebar Academy

The fit isn't an industry. It's a mindset.

Rebar's clients have outgrown the spreadsheets, manual handoffs, and duct-taped tools that got them this far. The common thread isn't industry, size, or age — it's readiness: they see software as a competitive advantage, not an expense, and they can decide without it vanishing into a committee. We're industry-agnostic — and you don't need it all figured out. Often the real work is finding the problem worth solving in the first place.

01

A clear pain point

A process that eats hours every week, a bottleneck that keeps breaking, a manual task that should've been automated long ago. You know what hurts — we build the fix, or point you to the off-the-shelf tool if that's the better answer.

02

A pile of data

Years of information across your systems, and a strong sense you're not getting everything out of it. The first job is discovery — figuring out which problems are even worth solving.

03

A half-working AI experiment

Something wired up that's unreliable, expensive, or never quite did what you hoped. We turn it into something that actually works and earns its keep.

Knowing when to use AI — and when to use a for loop.

Companies are bolting AI onto everything — and the bill comes due: token costs, latency, and output nobody can fully trust. Used well, AI is a sharp tool. The skill is knowing exactly where it belongs — and where a deterministic system does the job better, cheaper, and more reliably.

Principles

01

Foundation first

A system is only as good as its foundation — and the foundation is data. We build bottom-up: get the data right, and everything above it holds.

02

Deterministic by default

Proven, hard-coded systems handle the structured, repeatable work — fast, predictable, and effectively free to run.

03

AI where it earns it

AI is reserved for the genuine edge cases where it measurably outperforms — applied on an ROI basis, never as the default.

04

Validated, always

Every result is checked against deterministic logic. Trust is built into the system, not assumed.

The only way to trust AI is to validate it with deterministic checks anyway. So we rely on the fast, free, proven systems first — and reach for AI selectively, on a value basis. Never by default.

A speedy tortoise — fast to ship, built to last.

SaaS made sense when building software was slow and expensive — one generic, one-size-fits-all tool, rented by everyone. Building isn't the bottleneck anymore: software can be shaped around your operation and owned by you, not rented. But when building gets fast, the risk is shipping AI slop. We don't.

01

Fast

Building is no longer the bottleneck. We move quickly — and never spend time or budget on AI where simpler logic wins.

02

Sturdy

Proprietary methods, sharpened on every build, mean dependable software — not AI slop that buckles the moment it meets real use.

03

Secure

Secure tooling and tight data boundaries. Your data stays scoped to you, and security is treated as part of the deliverable.

Slow and steady wins the race. Fast and steady wins it sooner.

Engineered like a build, not a black box.

An engagement runs through clear stages — and it's all built around a single goal: that what we hand back makes Monday something you look forward to.

The Engagement

01

Conversation

A free initial call to understand the pain point and qualify whether there's a real project.

02

Discovery & Scoping

A short paid engagement that produces a written plan: the approach, a phase breakdown, and estimates.

03

Build in Phases

Each phase is scoped and priced on its own. You commit one phase at a time — never the whole project upfront.

04

Handover

Source code, deployed software, infrastructure, and documentation transfer to you. You own it outright.

The Team

Projects are staffed lean and paired for the work. The core unit is a forward-deployed pair — a Value Engineer keeping the build pointed at real ROI, alongside an Implementation Engineer in the build day to day — with the Deterministic Engineer and Infrastructure & Security roles pulled in as the project calls for them. Small teams, close to your operation.

TGIMThank God It's Monday

When the busywork and the friction are gone, Monday stops being something to dread. That's the real measure of an engagement — software that makes you, and your team, glad to get to work.

Less mindless work. More of the work that matters.

Rebar exists for one reason. Too much of people's time goes to mindless, tedious, automatable work — and every hour of it is stolen from the work they're good at and actually care about.

So that's what we build toward. Every project aims to clear the busywork off people's plates, so their time and energy go to the problems worth solving. Solve the real problem, make the day better — that's the whole point.
